（1）What’s your favorite…?意为“你最喜欢的……是什么?”，是英语中用来询问对方喜欢的事物的常用句型。
—What’s your favorite color?
—White.
（2）favorite(like…best) 此处用作形容词，意为“特别喜爱的”，通常用作定语修饰名词，其前常用形容词性物主代词或名词所有格修饰。
Tom’s favorite subject is English.=Tom likes English best.
2.P.E.体育
P.E.作名词，是physical education的缩写形式。
【拓展】学科名词作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
